Learning & Teaching Expo 2025: “Infrastructure x Education” Exhibition Introduction

Introduction

Infrastructure goes beyond building cities, it's a fountain of inspiration. From bridges to classrooms, infrastructure is the most relatable STEAM teaching material. The inaugural collaborative project between Hong Kong's construction and education sectors – "Infrastructure x Education" Exhibition – made its grand debut at the Learning & Teaching Expo 2025. Developed by the city's Development Bureau and Construction Industry Council, the Exhibition promoted the integration of infrastructure and education and featured Hong Kong's first infrastructure map in STEAM education; AI architects; and the inaugural STEAM teaching materials for the construction sector. It showcased the world's first educational model that bridges STEAM learning in the classrooms of Hong Kong's primary and secondary school students to real-life infrastructure within their urban surroundings. From building cities to shaping young minds, infrastructure paves new ground for education and forges a new identity for Hong Kong.
